I am so grateful to have both of my girls home from Europe.    It was a great day celebrating motherhood.  I am so blessed to have 2 wonderful children, they both have a good head on their shoulders and have goals and plans for their futures.    It is different having adult children vs little ones, but each stage has been a gift.

I hosted my family for a bbq ….. 14.    It was wonderful having the family together, it has been awhile.  Although the cousins range in age from 22 months – 23 years, they can enjoy each others company … and of course everyone wants to play with baby Caroline.

It was nice to be able to celebrate our Mom and all the mothers in the family.

The brothers and my mom had got me a really nice bracelet and necklace to commemorate my retirement.   I was really touched …. I am sure it was my mom’s idea, but it is the thought that counts.   It is still weird not working each day, I am still trying to figure out my new routine.    With the girls home I have been pretty well entertained doing things with them, but I know that wont last forever.

I am so happy and grateful to have my Mom still with us and to be a Mom myself.
